The Summer Scorecard: Ten Best Brand Experiences of the Season
With August approaching, BizBash compiled the ten standout activations of the season. Southwest Airlines' "Sunset on the Beach" series, repeated monthly in Waikiki, hosted more than four thousand people around a lit installation built from eight surfboards. The list ranges from Nordstrom's city terrace created with Aperol to Dunkin's pink surf shack in the Hamptons. Recurring series formats are visibly starting to replace one-off builds.

EventTrack 2026: Events Are No Longer a Tactic but the Centre
EventTrack 2026, produced by Event Marketer with Sparks, published research conducted with more than a thousand Fortune 1000 marketers and attendees. The report says events have moved from a tactic in the marketing mix to a strategic centre: 61 percent of attendees are more inclined to purchase after an event, and 85 percent of B2B attendees feel better informed. Some 82 percent of brands have a sustainability strategy or are developing one.

The Festival Economy: How Many Industries Does One Event Set in Motion?
Coffee festivals growing in Türkiye are moving beyond cultural events to become part of the city economy. According to Alper Sesli, chair of Dream Sales Machine, staging a festival directly engages some 60 industries, from stage and production to LED screen technologies, from booth manufacturing to ticketing software. Counting the sub-supply chain, the number of industries affected rises to 160. Sesli argues success should be measured not only by visitor numbers but by the employment and trade volume created.
